Electrifying bikes!

Transporting the Connect Education Centre teacher trainers to the local schools has suddenly become quieter, safer and cheaper! Thanks to the help of GRID AI, two superb new bikes arrived on site from GoGo Uganda. It has been quite a revelation to have them. 

Even cheaper to run than normal, as we have also become a battery charging station for GoGo using our excess solar power - a great result. The benefits of having strong, stable and powerful solar on site are really starting to show tangible results. These bikes are part of the benefit. In Uganda, there is no opportunity to sell excess power back to the gird - but with these bikes we are effectively putting the spare power back into transport. Brilliant. The bikes are surprisingly fast and just so easy to use with little maintenance. 

This is another major step forward for the projects. WTA, The Rock Health Centre and the Connect Education Centres are right at the forefront of technology and innovation within Uganda. Thank you.
